Ford Recall Info?

I just had my '05 in for service. They didn't do the Ford recall/reflash because it has the Edge J/A chip in it. They said they wouldn't do it because then the chip wouldn't work correctly following? Has anyone got any experience with this? Wondering what this is all about...

Thats a fact,if they come in with a chip we don't perform the updated programs to the computer.
The udates are specifclly for the the stock Ford programs not designed for Edge/Banks/and other aftermarket chips.Aftermarket chips have thier own pids.
