We lifted the boat off of the trailer yesterday. A 35 ton crane came in and pick it up easy, although I was pretty nervous seeing my boat dangle in the air. The entire bottom is being painted along with fixing every imperfection, cause I'm anal like that.:D I also took the trailer to get totally refurbished, new LED's, new diamond plate, new bunks, etc.
After this we will put the drives back on and button up a few more things and she will be ready for the summer. If Andy or someone would be kind enough to shoot me their email, we can get some pics up.:)
By the way, the crane had a scale on it. 40 Skater with quarter tanks of gas and no lower units weighs in at 9500 lbs.

So, I guess that means we dont use your trailer anymore to plow the ramp at the Nautical?

Yeah, I've never seen a dually at full boost in reverse! At the Absolute poker run last year I was talking to one of the new owners of the Nautical and stressed that they need to make the launch better for big boats. Now, it was after a couple;) cocktails, so I hope the message came across.:D Whatever it takes to get on the water right?

I didn't know you had a HOA. That is awesome. They are going to ask you to move it, and you can just give them the "how the fock am I going to do that" look.
When I do get my new boat, everyone including your girlfriend will be lounging on my boat while we watch you do a mexican hat dance on the 2000 degree bow. It's cool though, you can get out of the sun with your little umbrella you put up. I might even have a lawn chair for you to borrow. :D :jawdrop: :)

Nice pic, huh?:D :D I was a little nervous until we put another 6, 6 ton jacks under it. Ask Peter at Skater what they set there boats on, you won't believe it....
The bottom came out great, almost 2 weeks worth of work. We lifted it back on with no issues. The name is off the boat and some little scratches and cracks were filled on the deck. My painters are going to clear it today and then we will do the final wet sand and buff this weekend.
The name is going on Sunday. The lettering will look like the game "Hitman" with cross hairs going thru it.
My drives are on the way back from Wiesman and will be here on Monday. The drives and about ten other things will be done next week. Hopefully everything goes well. I will have some more pics in a few days.

We had a great weekend. The new intercoms from the Solder Joint are fantastic. All five are crystal clear. I would give them a call if I were you, 800-914-4680. Super nice guys also.:D
The boat ran awesome. Between the new lowers from Hering and a set of 35 five blades I borrowed, the boat handled like it was on rails. Such an improvment over my 4 blades! After the rebuilds from Larry's the motors are strong as ever and run perfect. Only thing I need to do is run a pressure relief valve for my water pressure, a little to much on the top end. A few more things to clean up and I will be ready for Havasu!:D
Oh, I have some pics too if someone wants to help me out.:) Tell me what you think of the last picture.............
