Just wanted to say whats up and share my river toy with you guys. The boat was given to me by my bestfriends father. My best friend passed away last year and this was his boat. I know its a 68 Rogers but Im not sure what model it is, Im sure some of you will know what it is. As soon as I get some extra cash we are going to regel and fix it up just like my buddy wanted it. Anyways here are some pics and I look forward to chattin with some of you guys.

The TR bottom only came in the 19 bubble and the 20 mini. 68_Rogers bottom is the old clippership, deep nose bottom...the old Tahiti bottom. This was years before the later 2nd generation Cyclone botom.:)
Cool find 68. Looks like a keeper for sure. Check out the boat Goad has in his thread 'need to id this boats owner'. He has the same hull as you. Also there's a great picture in there of the then new 18 bubble with the all new bottom. Notice the difference in the entry, not as deep as your, or goads.

Nah the previous owner used some shitty paint and there is no clear or gel over it. We are going to re-gel the boat and make her look new! One of my good friends owns a paint shop here in the OC so we gonna make her pretty.

HAHAHA You got that right.. This pic was taken at Marine Stadium in Long Beach CA. I think the speed limit was 35 in there but we were goin way faster then that. They have races there every now and again. Super close to the house so its fun on hot summer days and you don't have to drive 5 hrs. to get to the lake.

I'd rather swim in Lake Elsinore, than run in the salt water. :yuk: :yuk: :yuk:
That must be a day just to clean thing's up.

hahaha I don't know man elsinore is pretty bad.. haha
We only ran it there a couple of times and it does take a long time to clean it. Once we get the new motor and paint on that thing we won't be running it there.

Exactly, We are debating on whether to go apple red with a lot of flake or a rootbeer candy. Same with the interior, make it look like an old hotrod!
