I once was getting scammed on ebay for some Hyd Steering, about $800. Another guys was also getting scammed over an XR drive - he was on the hook for $5K.
So I was exchanging email with the idiot seller, alll the while tracking his email with readnotify.com, and baiting him. All of his email was being reported as thru the Ukraine. This went on for 3 weeks and I knew he was reading the email, but not responding.
Except one time - the fool opened it from someplace in Wisconsin and I nabbed his IP address.
So my next email I informed him of this fact.
Two days later and out of the blue, I received a refund, as did the guy on the drive (he was floored). The seller said it had all been a mix up.....yeah, sure.
