Last I installed that product it was about $300.00 a LF and that was 10 years ago. It came from a glass shop in Dana Point.

Is there any way you can charge Toby like $450 a ft and use billet supports? I think he'd be more comfortable:)

was thinking more like 125.00ish a foot. I dont have JB-in-the-butt's money.

it wasnt that over the top expensive....untill the owner of a local company JACKED me on the price. Wont do biz with someone like that.

It's expensive for these reasons, first the glass has to be measured, cut beveled and tempered, by the way I think this is half inch as I recall. then the part at the bottom is actually a billit alum. "shoe" that the glassfits in it measures about 3x5 and runs the entire distance of the fence, corners are 90 ed and welded. If it's measured wrong a new price has to be made, you can't cut tempered glass. then to meet code there has to be a top rail of some sort, often banister rail cut with a half inch by 1 ince mortice. Hope this helps in your decision of what it's worth.
