Just thought I would get some numbers as I have never really had a good plug or a bad plug for my engine. But I'm sure I could be running a better plug?
I have been running an Autolite Racing plug AR3934
The engine combo is a quad whipple set up (2.3's) EFI
All the normal good ignition stuff. Running 12-13lbs boost
Any recs from anyone. I am not partial to any brand, I just want to try something new.
Thanks in advance,
Racer52

NGK-r5673-8 in the grocery getter 50 hours still look good. Always wondered why everyone seems to change their plugs so much when they last a 100k in a car. Mine look good, am I missing something?

I would run the ngk 9, its a little cooler than the 8. The ngk 8 and the autolite ar3934 are almost the same, they cross refrence.

We use NGK R5671A-9 These are for Aluminum heads. Get them at Napa for about 2 bucks, stock # 5238

I should have waited till today to buy the plugs. I could only find the AR plugs in my town as the numbers posted yesterday were not for aluminum heads. I will buy a set of the R5671A-9 as they are half the price and looks to be little colder plug.
What are the advantages with running a colder plug on a blower motor?

Colder plugs help to prevent Detonation (a big killer of blower motors)
Good luck
