Cracked my 2bolt main through a water jacket and trashed the motor.

Building a new one up now and had to pull the junk one. The lift was broken and I could not get my hands on a engine puller.
I think I did a pretty good job of making do with what resources I had avalible to me.

and here i thought i was cool with my little kabota tractor..... YOU WIN! :D
BTW. how did you know you had that crack? pistons look great for an old motor, and i dont see where it was leaking into the lifter valley. was this something you just found by removing the heads?

The motor stopped cranking over. I could back it up but it would stop at the same point in the cycle. After pulling the heads we found the cylinder had hydrolocked forced the motor to a stop. The head gasket had gone as well and I had vapor in my exhaust.
The picture you see is after sitting on the side yard all winter with the cover on. The cover had some low spots and leaked onto the block. There is a little rust and build up but not bad for a 30year old motor.
