Possibly a stupid question but being back East we've never seen it. Why are the cops shooting video ????? Are they doing a cops version of girls gone wild?? Nice to see tax dollars at work :)

I was told that the people shooting video on the sherriffs boat were from Court TV, and they were filming a "Water Police" type video. The theme of the video was, "Come on vacation, leave on probation" :)

I thought all that construction was awful looking. Does anyone know when it is going to be done? We got a late start everyday. Thats what happens when you are trying to close the clubs. I think we will take it a little easier next time. ;)

hey it was good seeing you this weekend. Sorry we couldn't visit and we were thinking about tieing up with ya in CC but ya'll were way too far in for my comfort level. It was crazy enough for us where we were.

They are installing a "Sea Wall" with ties. You will be allowed to have one boat per tie.
These F'ing brain surgeons started about two (2) weeks ago and the trench is lower than the water level and is now FULL of water. Gotta admit Havasu has some real DUMBASSES running the show. Like Vegasbaby said, they should have used the money to clean up all the rocks on the mainland side and more people would park over there. Then they could have started the construction on the Island side this winter. The poor shop owners on the Island side are Feeling it FOR SURE. most of the shops have closed their doors. It is pretty F'ing sad.

Supposed be done before Memorial weekend
Like Vegasbaby said, they should have used the money to clean up all the rocks on the mainland side and more people would park over there.
Hopefully they will use some of the sand they dug up on the island side and place it over on the tourist side.....doubt it though.....

The one down side to summer is all the beer covers up the previous 6 months of hard work. Oh well .... just do alot of curls to get the girls. :)
