The bogus one is:
Free credit report .com ya see advertised all the time, actually won't give you any info unless ya sign up for a trial period.
This is the free one:
AnnualCreditReport.com
Gives you all the dings and scratches and an easy way to dispute.
Seems FICO scores are gone now and they use the Vantage System ($4.99 with no recuring charges for the Vantage score):
Vantage is 501 to 990.
The F thru A rating, and sucks, good, sub prime, prime and super prime kinda system too.
This part is no obligation and totally free.
The Wifes ex charged stuff in her name and never paid for it and we were able to get it off her record too and her score back into super prime. (click dispute).
The other trick is just get your free report from one of the agencies,, then in 4 months you can still get another free report from one of the other agencies,, then againin 4 months.
If you get all 3 at once than it's just free once annually.
Perhaps someone out there can use this info.

I use mycreditinform.com
I think it is 5.99/month. It gives you your credit score quarterly and also gives you a program where you can simulate paying off certain bills and it will show you how it reflects your score.
