Steering Wheel Stereo Remote?

SO, has anyone tried one of these yet? if so, how is it working ? They look like a cool set-up.

They work pretty good make sure the antenna wire is going left to right not front to back or hanging down.

it works great on the alpine head units that have the remote plug on the back

I am pretty sure some of the new remotes use RF to transmit back to a receiver, what happens if 3 of us have them in the channel? Do they have multiple channels and if so are they east to change on the spot if someone else is on the same channel?
This is in reference to the waterproof keychain style ones I saw on here a few weeks ago. Thanks.

Dont know if I have the plug or not. I will be out there this weekend and will look and see what Radio I have (I think its the cda9875). If it works I will drop the boat off with you this weekend.

If its a 9855 yes it has the plug came out about 2005
Called Alpine they said no 9875 so good chance.
Unless its older than say 2005.

Probably a 9855. I had it done last year, but since leaving the industry I dont pay much attention to model #s anymore.

Does it have high speed Ipod controls on the deck?

I wanted one on the new boat but was told they don't work with full hydraulic steering hubs.:(
