Howe is Neva? I've been thinking about her and hope she's getting better. :)

Howe is Neva? I've been thinking about her and hope she's getting better. :)
She has been getting better slowly but surely. She has really high blood pressure, so she's been on blood pressure medicine for the last 3 weeks. We have tapered her off of everything but the blood pressure medicine, and that we are beginning to taper right now with half pills.
Her head tilt doesn't seem to be near as bad as it used to be, but it's still there. She still stumbles a bit here and there, but maybe two or three times a day as opposed to everytime she tried to walk up the stairs.
It's looking like she had a stroke, which all you can do is let them recover slowly.

When my pup had her stroke, it took her a while too but she is back to normal, actually better because she hasn't had a seizure since the stroke. I'm glad Neva is starting to heal, it's scary when our pets can't tell us what's wrong.

Thanks for the well wishes guys.. :) Yes it is a scary deal, but we have some pretty advanced vets here locally that are on the case so I'm feeling confident about it.

Hey Riverdave, sorry I've never met you, but just wanted to send our well wishes for her and for you. I know how hard it is to be a loved one in these deals, and I know the patient is the one going through it, but the stress is tough on ya. Keep your head up man, like I said our prayers are for her to make a complete recovery. Brew:)

She was a little "aggressive" when she was on the steriods (prednizone?) for the last couple weeks, but she's mellowing out again.. :)
I love that pictures.. You can see the "You guys are REALLY GONNA LEAVE ME?" all over her face.. :D

That's spooky b/c I was just wondering about her today. I'm so glad to hear she's doing better Dave!:D
