GAS TO NEEDLES

[ACCEPTENCE]

For those of you traveling to Needles for the ""Needles V-drive Bash"" and new to the drive...
A few options:
From the I-15 or 58, just after the 15-40 innerchange, The first off ramp is an Arco AM/PM @ Montara Road on your right side, a good place to gas before heading out onto the desert. Usually cheaper then Barstow and Lenwood. From there you have 137 miles to Needles. There are two gas stops in between, one at 50 miles out Ludlow and the other at 90 miles out Goffs Road. If you need gas at these, it sucks to be you$$$$$$$.
Your off ramp in Needles is West Broadway. When you get to Needles, do not gas there$$$. Across the bridge from Needles is an ARCO, not Mobil with cheap gas. Usually about 20-30 cents cheaper or more then the California side. Across the bridge and about 1/2 mile on your left.
AV Gas is available at the Needles airport.

There is gas on the water available @ the Needles Marina$$$, up river @ the Avi Casino$$$ and down river @ the Topock Marina$$$. Better to gas the boat at the Arco or the airport.

Yep, as long as it's an off road vehicle it's legal, you can't drive up to the pump and fill your vehicle, that's a nono!.. :)

I always laugh at the people that get gas in Needles (no hard feelings). If they only new that they can drive 2 miles they would save 30 cents.
