Gina is working on the points as we speak! Should have them done and over this afternoon!
Great job on posting the results Robert.
I second the comments Willis posted.
Racer227 (Shaun Harrington) and Nick Pirata (not sure of his screen name here or if I spelled his last name correctly), but the 2 new Tech guys rocked! They jumped in with a great attitude and made it work!
We could still use a couple more full time guys, PM me your information & I'll pass it on to Shaun.
Thanks again guys, great job!

Hey, there must be some 'Kinda Mistake' in the UBFJ Postings ... I don't see any 7 Second Boats other than Jerry ... What happened to all the 7.70'er's that people said over the winter break that they were going to bring?
All that talk 'Scared' us so bad that we figured it was a waste of money to go that far just to come over and get 'Whooped' by you Cali Guys. :D

Not the bowl ... blew the side out of the old Berkeley suction piece couple of years ago. I was trying an 'Odd' (to say the least) shape in the intake entry area and that combined with the loader caused a severe hammering effect that blew out the side of the Berkeley piece ... turns out there also was a significant core shift in the casting in the area that gave out ... that, my experimentation and the fact that the suction piece was over 25 years old and had been run hard (suspect metal fatique) are what led to the failure.
The way we corrected our problem was to change to a Dominator suction piece (thicker, higher quality casing with side reinforcement), redo the intake area and redesign the loader(s) to compliment the shape of the redone intake area ... Trite to say in hindsight, but, I've found that matching the loader and intake entry area is one of the key elements to keeping the pump fully loaded throughout the 1/4 ... and, sometimes your adjusting each of those things less than a few tenths of an inch at a time to get the 'Sweet' Set Up.

hey now guys ... Gina is doing a fine job for a volunteer ... if anyone else wants the job, feel free to ask ... it only takes about 2-3 hours to complete.
Just so it's clear, only the top 5 get their points shown on the internet ... there were 4 mistakes made, some by Gina, some we don't know how (500?) ... but all were corrected within 24 hours.
I remember the days of no points on the web at all ... having to wait for the newsletter ... now if we don't have them up within 2-3 days, people are freaking out.
I guess the good news is that people are using the web for information.
Hope everything is cleared up, let me know if there are anymore problems.
