Any suggestions for software that will edit films from a home camcorder to DVD?
The software that came with my Sony desktop is no longer working.

From what I hear "Vegas" is a good one...

That depends on your needs. Most people get by just fine with the less expensive stuff like Roxio videowave or Pinnacle studio plus. If you are very good try Adobe Premier Pro. Also depends on if you want to import different formats but it sounds like you just want to turn home movies into DVD's so those will work great. :)

I use Adobe Premier Elements -- around $80 at Costco. I recommend it.
