Let me see, buy a new car, or a plastic candy dispenser. Seems like a toss up to me. :crossx:

No wonder the teachers took away our Pez dispensers back in the 4th grade. How were WE to know they were robbing us ...........11K! That is a joke, right?........... MP

I always just ate the candy without even loading it into the dispenser and threw away the dispenser. I could be a thousandaire now, DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!! :p :rollside: Oh wait, I wasn't around in the '50's anyways. My '70 pez dispensers are probably only worth $1.50. :boxed:

Just think of all the chicks you'll get with a 1950's Pez dispenser? You'll be like the best looking dude at a Star Trek convention. :D
Yeah I know, but it always pisses off my wife when I do that. I find my "Phaser" works better on the chicks at those Star Trek things anyway. :)

I've seen a couple go for about $1200. and lots in the $100. to $200 range but none for that much. I could have retired with some of the stuff I had as a kid....especially the hand me down baseball cards from my 2 brothers!

Must have been a rookie. Should have saved the lisitng fee and started it at .99
But I'm sure he knew it would go off. But even listing it for 9.99 is better then an even 10.00 because that's the cut off point for the lowest listing fee.
I just read a book called "E Bay Millionaires". Pretty much they all start them very low (like .01 ~ .99) and let the market bid them up. If something is worth 40K then it will get bid up there. They did studies that show auctions with a low starting bid do better then the ones with a starting bid of lets say, the lowest you want to get for it.
I'll tell you how it works out for me as I have some .99 auctions going right now. Hope I don't loose my ass. lol

the buyers last purchase was mary kay make up remover for $6.50. that's quite a jump to $11k for a piece of plastic.I wonder if this deal is going to go through.
