Dont know, never dyno'd the motor. I will say that it consistantly runs 97mph (gps) with 37's @ 6000 rpm. And it get's there in a hurry, I enjoy the quickness of the boat rather then the top speed. If some one wanted it to go faster i would up the gears in the split case or change the prop. I'm confident the motor would turn a 50, you may have run 2nd gear out a little longer before shifting into high.

Then it made a bunch! :D
It makes more power on the top end due to the tunnel ram intake, Big innercooler and heads. The big thing for me and the family is how quiet the motor really is when just cruising.

sweet boat.
Thanks, there is alot more to the boat for example, the engine compartment has the wiring, switch and hatch ram for a hatch, there is a stereo in the boat, depth guage, no other holes were drilled in the boat for the bimini, there is a light pole for the transom, optima batteries are located next to the drive shaft to get the weight off the transom, alot of time and thought has gone into making things as clean as possible.

As far as the value, look at Keith's ride, bitchen boat, high value. You cant build one for under 100K even if Lee built just a hull for you. Its a shame i have to sell it, but for right now short term loss for long term gain :(
Thanks for the compliments!!!

Proprod- Beautiful boat man. I grew up around them and my dad has owned his '22 for 27 years. Has the money to step up to something bigger just never wanted to. I just restored a 1974 '22 Schiada V-drive and everything is brand new in it. Mine is old and I wouldn't sell it for less than 25K. You definitely have a beauty there. They are amazing boats and conversation pieces pretty much anywhere. Good luck with the sale. When I was riding around in the shop golf cart at age 4 when my Dad was having his 2nd Schiada built over in Torrance Lee was just a teenager. I have known the Spindlers for over 25 years. lots of history there and the boats are awesome.

I think it's part of the reason a Schiada will retain so much value, they always seem to have a timless look to them. Lee has the $hit going on, so many times i have left his shop in amazment. Hate to see the boat leave the garage, but i can assure you i will build another.

Yes it is the newer set up. and no, it only has the insulated shrouds, last time i checked, Bob Teague had a set of water jacketed. At the the time they were raw finish.

I am getting an interior done, and I would guess that the hatch cover built to match (wood built/ covered, hinges, ram/gas shocks) would prolly be $500 to $1000 depending on what you wanted to do. This is a baddass lookin boat. I used the pics to build my interior, but the colors are going to be different.
Bump for a bad ass boat.

thanks, BobbyB, i have looked for more pics of the interior and havent found any yet. We took alot of time and thought to get the bimini to fit behinf the seat and everything else to work with it. The back seat base has good storage in it. As well as the front seats as normal. I dont know about you but it always seems that i am trying to pack 10 pounds of ( ) in a 5 pound bag. I really want to just give the boat to Lee and have him make it. I would guess 1,500 to 2,000. I have some great idea's on the style. We actually made a hatch for it, and when it was plywood and resin, sitting on the boat the thing looked bad ass, but after it was upolstered it just didnt look like i wanted it to, so i left it off.
