Here are some pics of a boat that was at the antique boat show that I went to. It has a OX 5 aircraft engine in it. The engine runs. They fired it up at the show. It was found in a shed that a boyscout troop was storing canoes in. I think the original owner let the city take the property for taxes owed and the shed and boat was on the property. I'm not sure how the boy scouts ended up with it.http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/P3230009.JPG

...................I had a 20' ....1949 Chris Craft Custom Runabout....(dual cockpit plank boat)...........I acquired it from Tom Koulax Jr. the son of the founder of the renound "Tommies" burgers.......He had gotten it from the "Boy Scouts".............I paid $600 for it.........The hardware had all been removed for a refinish, but was all there and it had two cracked planks..............I kept in in the parking lot of the Marina (well covered), where I lived for years, ................between the resto of the '34 plank boat that I lived on, and the non stop 8 year party on the docks, I never got around to the Chris Craft and sold it for $1500...............It's probably winning awards at the Lake Tahoe shows........Oh Well?

That is awesome. I like the name "Empty Pockets". Why isn't orange though?;)
That thing must have been as loud as hell with the engine right in front of you like that. Crazy the way they just let the rockers hang out in the open like that.
