I've got a 79 Challenger and would like to know if anyone could recomend a reputable shop to take it to in the San Diego area. I need to get an impeller replaced and some new headers installed. Eventually I may need some cosmetic fiberglass work and some interior stuff done. Also may want to get a place diverter as well.
Someone suggested performance marine, would anyone tend to agree or disagree?
Also, I have over transom headers at the moment and since I have to replace them would anyone suggest going with through transoms? I stick to the river near blythe and have been ok but the first day I went to lake mojave I was kicked off the lake. Have things mellowed out since or are they still coming down hard on noise?
Thanks for the help....

I haven't used Neil at San Diego Performance Marine, but he has always been very helpful when I've talked to him. He is SDPM on the boards. Try pm'ing him.
I bought my ZZ502 from him and got a great deal.
I do most of my stuff myself. Unfortunatley it costs me twice as much. The first time to do the repair, the second time to do it right.:D

Go to Neil at San Diego Performance Marine. He strives to make happy customers and does not sell you on things you don't need. I have bought parts from another (named above) where they were layed out on the deck of a customers boat (Un covered). I would never want someone I was paying to service my boat disrespecting my stuff and me like that. I did let the customer know about it since I knew him from the river. His boat spent close to 2 years in the shop to be rigged. I recomend Neil at SDPM. He respects his customers.
