Weeno. Good stuff. I bought it at a car show. I use that and some micro fiber for everything on my engine. It sharpens it right up.

That is the best i have used over the years. The blue is bitchen for upkeep the green also does agood job on dirtier stuff(oxidized)
Gos on easy and comes off easy no streaks.Way better than mothers IMO.
stuff has gone up it was 12 bucks when i last ordered

Hey Sanger, make sure to drop by your local auto accessory store and pick up one of those Mothers polishing balls. Attach it to your drill and save tons of time!

This is thee best stuff on the market. You can pick it up in the truck stops, the truckers love it for there tanks, wheels etc. Works on aluminum, chrome, and stanless. Plus it protects the aluminum. Other wise Alcoa makes a very nice aluminum polish as well.

Flitz is really food stuff. summit sells it now. Lucas has a great polish too. Don't waste your money on Zoops. I stripped the whole boat, sent it all out to be polished, then did the zoops system. I would rather use nothing at all. it worked great until water got on it.

If you want it to shine you need to use a real compound. All these "advertised" products are okay for maintenance, but if you haven't tried some compound on a buffing wheel you are missing out. Just my .02....

Mothers Billet polish on a polishing/buffing wheel. Dri-Wash n Guard Metal Polish for a good quick polish.

ive tried all thoes polishes for what i call river touch up ... flitz, blue magic, meguires, wenol. mothers ,heavy metal , header chit, i could go on all day .. the all have there strong pioints and weaknesses, it all comes down to what you like the best ..hell i even tried 3m paint compound ... and had some great results with that ... i can definitly say that doing all your prepwork first makes it easier durning the season when you had a few beers and dont quite get all those spots after being on the water all day ...   :rollside:

using flour on the buff cloth absorbs the black (if it's ok to say black) faster! :)

try the new Meguiars Mag & Alluminum polish ... it's not abrasive so you don't end up scouring your billet to make it shiney.

I Know the thread is for polish but the best method for washing a polished or chrome engine is with the Revolutionizer Spot Free Rinse System. Team Ducati uses it for their motorcycles. Normally when you wash a polished engine drying is a nightmare, it attaches to a hose and rinse with it. you dont need to dry all those hard to get areas. Its at hydrostore.com
