I just ran this thing a few times so far!
77 nordic v bottom! 462 twin turbo. Banks, ..merlin heads 850, and a 612, 605 cam a 114! 16lbs of boost! 12x17 three balde. First time out I ran 80Gps and it was starvig for fuel! I went up on the secondaries from 95 to 98 and it ran 6000rpms today. didnt have gps? and I think it is still starving! The problem is with the cavitation plate up all the way around 75 sometime 80 the boat pushes the nose down and to the right hard you have to get out of it! with the cave plate a couple down to seem to not do that! i don't think the nose is carring like it should...I think the prop is craeting to much lift in the back of the boat!!! And forcing the back up to where the nose catches a chine way up in front a torques ofer..not good!Any suggestions? I don't want the r's to much higher. What do I do? I have a 12x17 two blade I can try? Wht will that do??Or any reccomendation...I am hoping that this hull design will take me into the 90's! I have to be close to 85 now!! I think the gears are 18 by guessing??

Do the turn count and find out what gears you have before you try to get help with the prop. Its the first thing in a chain of info that you will need to know in order to dial in the boat to the best result. Knowledge is power to understand the entire picture. I know if my boat went 85 or 90, I'd hate for it to have a mind of its own....Moneypitt
