Looking for a set of stock heads in good shape for an Oldsmobile. Does anyone have a pair they want to get rid of?

Well, I've got some Ga heads, but they aren't exactly in great shape. One of the rocker arms was busted when I got it, here is a pic that is representative of the condition:

I am in Bakersfield, CA and will let 'em go cheap if you want 'em.

I had a complete 455 posted up with rollers and ALL marine hardware including OT headers for 1200 but would deal.

Nope. You can use any big block Olds head you wish.

Just that some heads are better for marine apps than others. Also some flow better. But they are all interchangable. Mondello has a nice book on the how toos of the 455, it gives a little about the different heads.

You can use them if you have to. If you are going to get another set, look for G, Ga, K, Ka, or C. All G's and Ka's have big valves, as far as I know. Ga, and C could have either big or small valves.

I have a set of C heads. They came off of my boat motor and I bought
E-brock for the rebuild. They do not have hardened valve seats, you would
need to have that done and valve grind. I am in Phoenix.

87, shoot me a pm if you are really interested. I would be happy to get rid of the heads, and have some other misc. stuff you might like too, but remember it is all in Bakersfield. If you are going to Lake Ming or Buena Vista anytime soon I could bring it there, but that is about as far as I want to haul deep discount iron. ;)
