A little re-cap then update.
This is what the boat looked like in the summer of 69 while my parents owned it for nearly 4 years.
As some of you here know the boat was sold in the early 70's.

After nearly a 40 year absnece the boat was found again by ***boat forum member Scott Davis (Boat Anchor)
in Simi Valley. This pic was taken the very day we bought it back.

After getting our budget somewhat together then realizing that this boat will in no way hold to one, we decided to farm out alot of the restoration being that we wanted it done right by the people that know these boats best.
After stripping the boat all it's metal hardware and such the boat was delivered to Fiberglass Unlimited in Clovis California where Manny and his crew have been doing what they do best.
The boat was flipped and straightend and then re-geled.

This is where it's at today. Floors, stringers and of course the top gelled and wood laminate are still needing to be done. When done it is going to Dave Sammons for rigging and final assembly. Renteria Brothers are going to be building the crossed rammed 440 making somewhere in the 550 hp range.
I will post more as progress continues.
(sorry for such big pics but the smaller ones didn't do it justice)
