Rex Marine should be able to take care of you.

Yes, Rex Marine should have what you need. Also, a damm good time to have your rudder x rayed, or maged or what ever process it takes to get a good look at the condition of the metal in the fatigue areas. The process depends on what material the rudder is made from, but please, have it checked out.......MP

well I think a new one would be cheaper than the results of using that one un tested. Call Rex or PM rexone here on the HB board and get a price. Man that rudder is ugly! BUT it may be, I repeat, May be, useable.......maybe.....Art, where can he take, or send, that rudder for the necessary check out? Looks can be deceiving..........MP
BTW, when posts get that wide I quit reading them, it takes too long to scroll back and forth.........

We should have all the parts,
Stuffing boxes (http://www.rexmar.com/page141.html)
Flange Bearings (http://www.rexmar.com/page140.html)
I'd have the rudder tested (I'm sure these guys can steer you as to where). Typically when they break it will be right near where the shaft joins the blade (shaft breaks off from fatigue). Yours may be fine or maybe not. If you need any info just let me know.
btw please try to keep your pics down to 750 pixels wide max so they don't make scroll bars on the forum pages.

Yep, Rex has what you need but the stuffing box looks ok, just bore it out and put a Delrin sleeve in it, you can get a closer tolerance that way!.. The rudder???, I'd just get a new one but if you insist on just checking it, I know of two places that do this stuff, I'm sure there's more places though!..
