I have a refridgerator on my boat. One of those little ones and I never use it. I want to take it out and fabricate the space for storage. The problem I am running into is where to find a hatch/door that will cover the hole left behind by the refriderator. I have checked online and looked at the usual marine suppliers Westmarine etc but I can find one large enough to cover the hole. Not sure of the exact measurements but it is about 25"x25". Anyone know of a vendor that will build them custom sized? Any input? Thanks:confused:

I would check with Wayne Earl (http://www.wayneearl.com/) as they supply just about all of the builders in So. Cal with their acrylic parts.

You can buy starboard at West Marine....it can be cut, edged, drilled or whatever to make a door for your ho.....
Starboard (http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/producte/10001/-1/10001/37649/0/0/star%20board/All_2/mode+matchallpartial/0/0)

I think starboard is the way to go. Also, sometimes called seaboard. It is made by two companies that I know of CPG Seaboard, and King Starboard. They make various colors and thickness' and is quite easy to work with using most common woodworking tools. I have bought a few sheets from this place: http://www.professionalplastics.com/cgi-bin/main/co_disp/displ/prrfnbr/100162/sesent/00/StarBoard-%C2%AE-HDPE---Marine-Sheet
Hope this helps. Good luck.
