Fellow V-Drive enthusiast Steve(LIVIN ON THE EDGE)Lowater was involved in a serious motorcycle accident on Friday afternoon. He was airlifted to St Josephs hospital in Eureka CA and was last listed in critical condition and still unconscious the last I heard. My prayers go out to his family and I hope everything works out for the best :( .

Is there anything that the family needs that we can do? Maybe we can get together and help out. I know a lot of us are in So Cal, but maybe we can do something? If anybody knows his family, ask if there's anything we can do until he recovers.

Just called and talked to his kid, right now they have him sedated so he's not in pain but they said he was going to be OK, just take time, that is great!..

An update on Stevie. He has some busted ribs and some of them perforated his stomach. He is somewhat conscious but couldn't talk. I don't know about the head injuries yet. He will be in Eureka for the rest of the week and then they (doctors) will make a desision on what to do as far as where he will go. When I find out more info I'll let you guy's know.

Was this accident from the harley run? Yes. He was not hit by a car, but was Steve was hugging the line going around a curve and a car coming the opposite direction was doing the same. Steve from what I was told was attempting to swerve away when he laid it down. The guys riding behind him didn't think Steve was going to make it, so it's really good to hear different :)
