I'm looking for the driveline to crank connector. I have the older style that uses the 6 bolts to connect directly to the crank end, but it's a GM and I need a Ford unit. Anyone have one they'd part with ? I don't need the GM unit, maybe trade ???? Thanks !!!

Ive never seen a 6 bolt. Even my Hallett being a '78 came with a 4 bolt

Thats a pto and does have 6 bolts. My crusader has one on it from 78. Try ebay, I think I saw one on there recently, You can still get them new as long as you ask for the pto.

The 6 bolt flange I have is made to bolt right over a flexplate. No adapter needed, but it's for a Panther. Did the Berks have something similer?

That is NOT what I'm after. Mine has the 6 bolt pattern, and the u-joint slides into the other end.

Droptop, sounds like you have a Rockwell driveline. They are far less common than the Spicer-with-PTO type. Probably take a lot of luck to find the engine end of one of those to fit your Ford. Why not just bite the bullet and get setup with a Spicer shaft and PTO? Have you tried yet to see if u-joints are still readily available for your existing driveline?

My u-joints are brand new, and the driveline is pefect, it just has that darn GM end on it :D. I got a used Ford unit from Skagen, but it's beat up. The caps I removed from the Ford piece are the same size as the GM piece. I was hoping someone here had one they'd part with rather than buying a complete new driveline assy.

You can lend him yours since you're not using it. You've been working on that pump for the last two months.
