I realize Trojans are the best, but Trojans aren't easily available here, and the COSTCOS are only $61 each and available now.
Anyone use them what kinda use have you got?
Thanks.

So far so good with me. I use in the motorhome for the inverter batteries. Allot cheaper than the trojan by half the price. And it's Costco how can you go wrong.

I also run them in the coach. I have 4 and they work great even with a 5000watt inverter.

Damn. I peplaced 10 of them on a houseboat 3 years ago and they were $60.00 them. It's gonna hurt next time I replace them.

I have a 97 Yamaha G16.
I picked it up with only 4 batteries in it. Is it a bad idea to run it with just the 4 batteries or should I run all 6?
... I was thinking of keeping the 4 I have (if their even any good), then installing to deep cycles.
Any Ideas?

at only 24volts.... I wouldn't run it! You might damage the Controller, or some other electrical component. not worth the financial risk. have also heard its NOT a good idea to run MIS-MATCHED batteries. Go to costco and get a new set of 6. Not worth the brain damage down the road.

Really? Can I run deep cycles? How many volts must I run?

Remember, as voltage drops, amperage increases. I personally would not run it with 4.

The return policy may have been shortened (for a good reason) but Costco makes the manufacture give a 2 year vice one year warranty on all electronics. Not the same I know but the plasma tv return rate was killing them! On the batteries just take them back in two years and replace them:D
