Hey houston peeps. Where is there a boat launch for Lake Houston closest to Spring? More specifically, from the 1960/249 area?

There is Deussen park (nice ramp) off of the beltway,Lake Houston marina on the east side of 1960 bridge or give me a call and you can launch in my subdivision (Indian Shores). When are you planning on coming? I should be ready to go in a couple of weeks.

I went ride saturday and found the ramp on 1960. Next time i come to houston im gonna bring my boat. Ive been wanting to go for a cruise in Lake Houston. How far is your house from 1960 bridge? Do you live on the Lake?

In my humble opinion you should boat on the SanJacinto river (down stream from the Dam) There was a place call Banana Bend down river that draws a decent crowd.

Yes we live on the lake.We are halfway between 1960 and Crosby off of fm 2100.We have a growing jet boat population and you need to know the right places to go on lake.We also go to the river and hang out occasionally.Just give us a call 832-309-1757 or pm me and we'll hook up.
