Talked to JW at the show yesterday and it's set in stone for Fathers Day weekend June 17-18.

Steve at Ultra told me that they were not going to do the regatta themselves this year. Jokers Wild is going to do it this year. It will be held at the Nautical again.

I'm pretty sure he said they were having it at London Bridge Resort this time. That's were Jokers Wild dose most of there stuff now.

That's cool the Nautical is a good place but the people that run the place are aholes. Essex is the the weekend after at the Nautical also.

I know Magic/Sleek always books Father's Day weekend for their Regattas now. This started 2 years ago, and they really like having it that weekend. They are advertising it on their site too. The Nautical is where they always book it because I think it is the only place in town that can hold 500+ for a dinner. There is no way the Nautical could handle both groups for that weekend.
Last year, the lake was packed on that weekend. Should be another huge weekend out there that weekend again as well.

I wish the daytime activities were somewhere else. Maybe across Thompson Bay at the state park beach. There just isn't enough boat parking at the Nautical.

Looks like we need to change some plans we made for the first weekend in June so we can do this.. Just can't do two big trips in the same month..

From the mouth of John West last weekend at the boat show "London Bridge Resort" is the place. That is where most of the Jokers Wild deals go on these days. Call Ultra and double check.
