Big River..king of the camp

Cheyenne580 is the new guy and he's got some serious power. my money is on him for '07.

there were some fast boats. Mikes 19 ft shadow runs some mph. Also a DCB Mach 22 with twin merc 2.5's. Not really sure what the fastest boat was.

i went back once and stayed with some friends. Will be staying in bythe this season though. Isaac with the other 19 ft shadow bought a house down there so we will be staying on that part of the river.

No Chris i haven't raced him.Since i don't race anymore that would be hard to do.Plus the summer has just started.Now Chris don't be stirring the pot this is all in fun.Everyone's the KING this early in the season.I'm the new kid on the block so take it easy on the newbie.

And this boat can run from BR to Shell Beach (Just above LL) and then run all the way to the cove (north of the Parker bridge) and then run some races in front of camp, all on the same tank of gas?

I wouldnt call them hoops but just validation in fact ill give you a free pass i think "cole cash" should come up, if it runs for more than 20 minutes on the same tank of gas then does a couple quarter mile passes i consider it a river boat then.

I had to hold those plates down from site 6 to copper canyon and back. I aint doing that again. My leg was sore as hell after that.

you smokin some funny stuff there scotty??Low 7s is very fast for a flat either one huge motor or it doesnt drive very far.
If it does then its pretty imppressive.

I'm pretty sure SCR is talking about this boat. It has a huge wing on it now.
I can't verify performance claims but it wouldn't surprise me if it ran low 7's. Its the quickest flat I've ever seen at the river.
For you "lakeboat purists", it is a high maintenance monster with a small fuel tank. I think Mike Peasleys 2 speed hydro would probably beat it.

I talked to that guy last September. He told me the engine was one of Force's used ones running 30% Nitro for a little extra kick(over 100% Alchohol). I smelled it when he came by our camp on and off the throttle. The boat looked uncontrollable in the small chop, so I figured I could get out on him by at least 3-400' while he tried to reel me in. We set up a meeting for 7:00 a.m. the next morning but he was gone. Probably a good thing as he might have caught me. Oh well, I still have the Hallway Mopping Challenge with Quickjet to look forward to one of these days, lol.
We were at LL this weekend and went up past BR twice. Nothing over 60 mph floating there or in Camp that I saw, but plenty of water and nice warm temps. Next week is my dyno date for the new combo. LL May 18 for a week and a half. Hope to see some of you. RR
