Yup...And if needed, we can put it on alcohol...More HP usually cures most handling problems...:D :D :D

Very very nice man :D :D :D
There's not a boat out there I don't like, everyone makes theirs a bit different and that is what makes boating so much fun.
It's nice to see someone doing something very different though, something no one else had done. Can't wait to see it run! Will you have it out at CFW on Fathers day?
Out of complete curiosity, have you floated it with the weight that will be in it when it runs? We have painfully found out weight amount and placement makes a big difference, and are making adjustments so we can get this thing up to speed this year.
Can't wait to see you out there, we will be at CFW all week before Fathers day, stop by and have a beer!
NICE work! :)

We have gave that a few minutes of thought:confused: , and decided that it only needs to float when it's not in gear....:D We have been fortunate to have Joe Shelfo @ PrecisionCraft Marine working with us as this deal progressed & he feels OK with it... Also, Paul @ CHP Marine & Mikes Marine have been alot of help with the design stage of this project....The motor, Hardware & hull are all finally coming together after 2 yrs. work.....It better float.............

I LOVE going fast, but I have to admit. That boat scares me.......It looks like it will be a rocket. Love to see it run. BTW, how much NOS are you planning to run?
Darrell.

The 383ci.Small block dynoed at 450hp so probally a 200hp / 300hp Shot should do it...:D :D :D

Again, my question was out of comlpete curiousity. I have considered building a hull, and always wondered how one calculated the bouyancy of a new hull, especially a fiberglass sculpture like a picklefork. Its is probably much easier with a large ship. I suppose you could build a scale model, scale the weight and see what happens . . . . . or just build the real thing and cross your fingers.
Although you probably dont, IF, and I say IF you did have a "too low in the water" problem, bring it out to CFW Fathers Day anyway. . . . . my son and I and probably about 50 other people would be happy to hold it up out of the water until you light it just to see it run . . . staying clear of the prop of course!
And I'll be the first in line to buy one if you ever do a shovelnose.
Best of Luck, we'll see you at Red Bluff or CFW
