I was just wondering if anyone out there owns a f250/f350/1500-3500 pickup with a lift bigger than a 10" lift. If so,how big is your boat and how is towing with it?Any problems? I have a 1990 f350 that is sitting on 44s but I am worried about the size of my truck since its lifted 18"...Pictures would be nice as well..Boat-on

I'm sitting on 40" tires with a 12" lift on an '07 2500 HD Crew cab with the duramax 6.6 and the Allison tranny. Tow a 29 footer that weighs about 6800lbs loaded and can hardly tell its there. I'm sure your 44" tires weigh alot more than my 40's but I really dont know about towing........especially if your towing back and forth to the river. Have you re-geared?

Are you old school tire and rims like 15" rims and 44" tires cause that is alot of side wall for towing. If you are on like 20" with 44" that should be ok. How big is your boat, is it a double or triple axle, is your truck re-geared, is it a gas or diesel?

Since his truck is a 1 ton, he's probably on 16.5" rims. If the tires have a sufficient load rating there shouldn't be an issue there. I'd be more worried about soft rear springs (many brands of lift springs cannot come close to the weight capacity of the factory units) and lots of sag, not to mention the massive drop draw bar......

Im running Atlas rear springs and will have a rear air bag set up as well. I have 16.5" rims but will be upgrading to 20" Stazwork beadlocks with 41-44" Michelin tires. My boat is a 21" Cheetah jet boat with a tandem axle trailer.
