My hydraulic diverter will only go down not up.When I try to make it go up I can hear the pump running but it does not move.I check the cylinder and it works fine.

check for leaks, enough fluid, and that it has 12 volts to it. then when you check all that and it still doesn't work, toss that POS hyd and get a manual control...:D

Drop a Viagra in the oil reservoir.:D
If the effect lasts more than 4 hours, go see a mechanic. :D :D

Kind of sounds like a solenoid problem. Take a close look at the wires running to the solenoids before you condemn the unit. A call to Place can get you some diagnostic help.

I had the same problem with mine, when I called place they told me I would have to replace the entire unit. That didnt sound right to me.
We swapped the solenoids around and it would go up but not down. So I called Bennet and they sent me solenoids for free, just had to send the old ones back to them. Changed the solenoids out, and the damn thing still didnt work, changed the switch- notta. Pulled the damn thing out and put in a manual, funny, works every time now.
