1996 Force 150 trim motor leaks.

Hello all, a friend of mine just recently bought a Bayliner with a 1996 Force 150 outboard on it. It has an electric/hydraulic trim system on it. The only problem it seems to have is that it leaks real bad. It will let the motor down, and lift it if I help it otherwise it pukes oil every where. My question is this, are the hydraulic cylinders rebuildable? Or do we just say eff it, and replace the system?
