460, Berkley

[HOSS]

I am now yanking pump and going with an outboard. Anyone need a setup for a 460? Its all original Guardian stuff. I have a set of wet stainless Headers from Bob Hardison (sp). The pump is a JC with bowl work by GS Marine. I have the logs for the motor as well. The motor is going in the tubbed Cutlass. I have a 200 Rude just been sitting at the house. Its a "looper motor" so speed won`t be in the cards unless I opt for a new Merc 4 stroke. `75 Southind.

What do have? 4 point, 3 point? Front and rear with feet, logs? I need a 460 setup to change over from another engine.

I have logs and headders. It is a giant bell housing and a front plate, WP block off, 4 motor mounts, couplers, everything needed. Its all original guardian stuff polished. Logs need to be polishe up again but nothing hard. I wouldn`t send them out. They were also trued (ports). The block off plate is even in excellent condition.

LakesOnly may have one or get Bob to post one. They are still in office never bolted on. If not it`ll take me a week to get a pic up. I`ll try. I don`t evenknow what brand they are. I`ll post more tomorrow. I`m now closed on Mondays.

Headers aren`t going for cheap. Rest of the stuff is. Like dirt cheap. Just trying to help out a fellow ***boater. I`m not using this anymore so its going to someone to use. If you can pick up its free. Not headers though, logs yes.

By the way, Hoss, if those are the headers that you are selling (above picture), then they are chebby headers and not 429/460 headers.

As I recall, that boat was a really old and worn out Youngblood. Bob Hardison (aka "Jet Boat Bob") took the thing apart and
refurbished it, which included sandwiching the original stringers between inner and outer pieces that he bonded into place and
then wrapped the entire "triple stringer" setup all together in fiberglass. The original stringers were okay, but for some reason
he wanted to reinforce the hull for a 572CI engine (shown in the picture). It was cristened as the "Beer & Chicken" boat.
It went over 100 mph. Motor and boat have since been sold. I believe Hoss, here, bought the top end of the motor.

I`m not selling the valve covers. Thats not my boat. I did buy the top half, going in Cutlass now. Its gonna be a while before I get this out. I`ve been actually busy this week, thank GOD. Those are Chevy port headers. I forgot,,thanks lakesonly.

Ok, roostwear has dibbs on mounting crap olla for a big block 460, roostwear, logs, bellhousing, mounts, block off plate, do you need driveline? This stuff will be in my shop next week and I will ship out then.
Chet wants pump (bowl and pump chet?). All that will not be spoken for is the SS chevy flange headers.
I trust that these parts are needed as I`m giving them away. I want them to go to someone to use from this site not resell.
