This boat is squirly as hell! Alot of fun. Hopefully with some seat time 100+ will be had.

I don't think it ran more than 6-7 gallons at a time. You ran all aluminum too right?

LOL. And here we were thinking 800-900hp would be enough.
I guess it is a bit low from what it has seen in the past.

My wife and I paired up with him Sunday afternoon and made a short pass. Let's just say the RPM's were up and the boat ran well. He left first and we gained on him before he let out of it. It would have been fun to make a full pass to see what the results would have been. We were running a blown blue and white Placecraft.

I saw you on sunday, was pulling kids in the tub, few friends said they saw you in the lagoon. Are you planning on spending more time in the Aha area. Nice looking ride by the way.

We plan to spend more time there. We are planning a trip Memorial Day weekend. We'll be across from the sandbar. Come by and say hey.

Yea he told me about it. That was as fast as he has run the boat to date. Easter weekend was the first weekend out for it. Once he gets a little more comfortable in it, I am sure some full pulls will be had.

Is the motor sitting in the same location, or did ya shove it back a few inches.

No. Its still way up there. The diverter is hooked up right now and is being played with to see if that might help. If its still around for next season chances are it will go back 3" or so, but I doubt it will move this season.
You think that could have some affect on it hooking? We read alot about the TT hooking and this one did within the first 10 minutes on the water.

I think that probably has a lot to do with it. Less horsepower then old setup. Its only a 270 lb boat. I would say its too far forward but you are the one driving the boat. Hows it feel.

congrats on your purchase...i have owned one of those boats before...on mine with the handhole cover half in-half out...i ran a 14 in drive shaft...total length...i ran it with about a 450-550 horse motor first...then moved up to about a 900 horse motor and it handled the same...i know scotty was running alot more horse that that...where's the handhole cover and how long of shaft does it have in it????

Just fun to race and have someone to play with im sure once he's dialed he'll be tough to beat, but we'll still run and have fun

Yea i know, but it's a river boat with four seats & a stereo, next time i'll see if bp can set me out 9 seconds! that should give me plenty of time to look back!!!!
