Great day despite almost becoming Robby Gordon's hood ornament at mile 32 ( got the near miss on tape up until the time I dove)...Can't ever remember that much dust.
We took over 1,600 pictures and an hour of race footage from various spots on the course. If your were in the race and want a pic describe the vehicle and we will look it up for you. Individual Pic's are no charge for HB'ers

We were #1242 a silver Chevy Pro Truck with blue tribals.
Well atleast until the end of the first lap when most of the panels were removed (**** ouch)

I'll be managing through 1600 pictures next week and I am sure I have some of the trucks above so hang tight I'll get them. I 'll be editing the video this week and if I find any of the trucks in the video I'll get that out too. I'll send a PM either way to each person requesting pics to let you know. PM me if you have any requirements as the files are about 2-4 meg each in full res and run about 6 Megapixal.
Phat Matt : As far as keeping the camera from getting dirty? The dust this year got in everything. There are bags made for cameras and even dive housings. The one truck pictured above showered us so bad my buddy got rocks in his camera bag. So long $1000 Nikon! :cry:

I figured that dust and flying rocks could do some damage. :)
I guess you have to make some sacrifices for those good looking shots.

I lost my Safety Solutions D cell (head restraint system) this weekend (Friday). It was new (in the box/ with a RDC t-shirt and dezert people video, and misc stickers). I had just been fitted with it and all these things were in the white box it came in. I don't know if it fell out of the truck at the Blue Water or in the main pit.
I will give a reward to anyone who found it.
