This is the NEW body style with a 6 speed TRANSMISSION..... it truely gets 16 -18 MPG I am going to sell this to a ***boat member for an incredible price so that people start to hear more about the 6 speed transmissions..... Thanks Jay. Considering there is an 06 D-max 4x4 on here 4-sale for $34k I would say $35k is too much for this used rig. Good luck UPSman. At least the Jeep sold for what you wanted. I think these big trucks are soft now. It is a nice truck. Just keep it and drive it. Don't get caught up in the new-is-better syndrome.

yeah, i would really like to know how this thing does. i am almost to the point of giving up on the diesel thing. i am tired of paying diesel prices and paying more for the truck to have that motor

The truck ran great and tomorrow I will be towing to Havasu so I will get a better idea of the preformance and so forth. I think I was getting right around 14 MPG but I was just pressing buttons. The body is kind of growing on me also :). I need to get the lift kit and oversized tires put on ASAP so I can really get a feel for it all.
I guess Steve helped Deanne with my truck. Now, how do I get that one back from her? lol

I got 9.6 MPG on the way to Havasu and also 9.6 on the way back. I thought I would actually get better gas mileage going down hill but I guess not. I am very anxious to get the lift on and will get it done soon.
It pulls the boat (29 Shockwave) great. I can tell a big difference when backing up for some reason. It is just easier and it may be because of this not being lifted yet. Shit, I don't know :)

Yes. The 13.9 or so was not towing but now that I know what I am doing on the way home (2 weeks) I will see what I get highway on the way home. I suspect it will be better than that.

It was on ebay, no longer there. I believe it was a 6inch superlift with 20inch wheels. Probably 35's also.
