I love google earth. I can see my dog in the back yard. Pretty cool I thought.
I also use it to scope out mountain bike trails.

Try the built in feature from MicroSoft. WorldWatch, just hold down the Ctrl key and press "W".

www.zillow.com is better than google because you can zoom in better and it tells you the value on the address.

I just checked that out. The home value is pretty cool. But not even close to google earth. Not goole maps but google earth. Download it and you will spend hours looking at stuff. Like I said, I can see my dog standing in the back yard and follow small trails out in the mountains.

I have Google Earth D/L'ed at home and work.
For my house Zillow is much clearer and offers a couple different angles, via different photos. That www.local.live.com is very good too, I think the photo is better than Goole Earth too, just navigation is not as slick as Google Earth. local.live missed my house about about 5 houses...

Thats because the pool wasnt there at on time and thats when the pic was taken. If you look at the river you will see boats out on the water in December
when its raining. :D
Hey who was the guy that started that phone tracing thread a few months ago with the transvestite surprise?? That shit was funny.:D

How do you guys get it to come in that clear:jawdrop: I can zoom in but the closer I get the blurrier it gets.

It isn't that clear [ I mean you can't read reg # :D ] but you can recognize the boat by its shape and size . Dilligaf could recognize his pool by its shape
except days when he's got his misters on ;) :D

Talk about out of date, try to find Tom's house on http://local.live.com/, you lose the Parkway completely two clicks out!!! Maybe I'm not seeing it right, but....that's OLD!!!! Hell I don't even think Tom's old house is in that zoomed in shot!

GoogleEarth. Great site.
Seems to be about 18 mo. behind.
I'm off the beaten path so to speak, and they have photos of the property from about a year and a half ago.
And yes it's free.

On that Zillow site 2 of the views shows a car in my driveway that I sold at least 5 years ago. Also shows some grass in my back yard. Must have been right when I moved in before the dogs did the landscape. The other 2 views look more up to date.
