Hey anybody know where to find a good insurance company. I,ve been looking for 2 days to find...too fast, too much horsepower, open motor. I have a 20' carrera jet with 330 horse 454. Up here in minnesota nobody seems to know anything about "jetboats". All major companies will not write such a policy. Any help would be great, the ice just came off the lakes and need to get out. It's been a long winter!!!

Liberty Mutual provides "Personal Liability Protection"
You don’t have to be a millionaire to be sued for a million dollars. Although your homeowners or automobile policy provides liability protection, neither is designed to cover lawsuits of this magnitude. Believe it or not, there is an affordable way to protect yourself, your family, and your assets if you are ever involved in a liability suit this large.
• Personal injury coverage that is broader than the standard bodily injury coverage included in your underlying policies.
• Protection for liability for accidents caused by any recreational vehicle you operate, or by a boat, camp, home, or utility trailer you use, in excess of your underlying policies.
• Defense against claims and lawsuits, even if they are groundless or fraudulent.
• Protection that pays for your defense anywhere in the world.
Not sure how much it is, but they insure my car and I plan on adding this plan once my boat is running again.

We have a 20' jet with 430 HP and adding to our AAA car/HO insurance was about $60 more per year.
Perhaps consider shifting all your ins to AAA.

my Tahiti is insured through Foremost insurance. They even let me set the value of the boat. $500 a year full coverage, including trailer and storage site.

We use Progressive and we have not had any problems.....sad for us but we have had 2 claims in the past year and both were handled excellently.
