Going to Mojave next Saturday, have always launched at Cottonwood, but don't want to make the the drive from the casinos this time...my question is : what are the launch times this time of year ? is there a resturant still there where you can tie the boat up to and eat ?

Week days always OK, but worst ramp/situation anywhere on weekends

It won't be too bad at this time of the year. You will be fine. Yes, the restaraunt is still there and open. Make sure to visit Gasoline Ally which is about 3 miles or so up on the AZ side.
Have fun and be safe.....

Check the weather and stay out of that basin if the winds are 20+ MPH

This time of the year you won't have to wait at all.

You won't have any problems. Don't get your shorts in a twist and relax. I usually bring a walkie talkie and talk to the boat while I am in line. If the line is long, we takes turns hanging on the boat and waiting in line.
Restraunt is not bad. Never had a problem parking there right in front. No worries.
Stay out of Gasoline alley, then you won't run into Tom! :D j/k

I must be living in a different year, because everywhere I go there's a wait. :D

I will also say that this time of year there won't be much of a wait. It is spring break in a lot of places, but it still won't be bad. Considering I've seen the line all the way out to the dam road, it will be a cake walk. Even in the summertime, as I tell everyone, launch at or 7:30, go have breakfast, then head out. But seriously, this time of year 8 or 8:30 should be fine.

No worry on that one this weekend. Blew out my hydraulic steering and it is getting fixed up on the 19th. Can't wait to get it back on the water :)

No launch lines, a bit cold, maybe windy. It's always nice down by the dam.
I launched my boat up there two weeks ago:D Sometimes it is windy as hell by the Marina and fine out on the lake....:D
If the launch lines goes up to the mobile home entrance...it's 1/2 hour from there ;)
