How about just making sure to clear the colon before launching? ........normally takes ~8hrs+ for food to make its way to the spokes.
.
Otherwise seek out RiverRoyal and use the one on his magic boat

Never in the water.....long ago a friend told me he pinched one off in the water while camping up on the Kern one time...he said it floated up next to him and he couldn't get away from it.....that story has always haunted me...so we go back to the NMP or sometimes Topock Marina. ;)
I realize we could anchor the boat, and hang on while pointing down river towards Havasu and Parker, but it's just gross....we'll just use the tiolets at the Campground or marina.

That explains the funky taste in my tap water.

There are several outhouses along Mohave actually.

We were at steamboat one day when a drunk biatch asked to use someones restroom.I said "Honey does this boat look like it has a chitter?"
Ten minutes later she's in the water about twenty feet away and releases mud.Thats right I said MUD.The wife starts screaming at her and draws the attention of the crowd. Now she has fifty people screaming at her,she swims back to her boat like nothing happend. Denial is an idiots best defense
Brown pasties on my boat Not cool

That is a gross story!
We never use the water! We almost always find a marina or a floating restroom. At Lake Powell if we are too far away from a restroom and the kids need to go, we walk as far back on shore as possible with them and dig a hole. But I hate doing that.

I was pulling a little boy on a tube when he got this mortified look on his face. As he was holding on for his dear life, a BabyRuth looking object bounced on tube mat next to him, dancing and taunting him.
Apparently I scared the shit out of him....which is customary for most of those of the opposite sex.

Granted, I did not use that bathroom for pattycakes, just a urine deposit.

What would poesses someone to go sit in a Porta-Crapper when its 100* You can smell that thing from a good 50 yards away.
I have pinched one off in the water, not my greatest moment.
I do always try and go before launching, but sometimes you dont get it all out in the first round.
We carry a folding folding army shovel, and TP in the boat. The shovel is nice is case you have to wack any bugs, or snakes that decide to come pay you a visit during your squat!

That is one of the reasons that EVERY waterway in the US is now contaminated with various parsites, yes, it's from PEOPLE, not animals.
There is a hillariously written, yet very serious, book out, been out several years now, called "How To Sh!+ In The Woods".
It's a paperback, so it's cheap, go buy one.
BTW, go dig a hole ABOVE the high-water-line of the river and put it there, NOT ON THE BEACH!

Peeing in the water is fine.
Unless you have a kidney or bladder infection, urine is sterile.

Doing it in the water is disgusting unless you have a bad case of the squirts and dont have time to make it to shore or a restroom.
