I'm heading for the jungle (so.cal) on the 17th to pick up my project Hydro. If anyone is near Gerold st. in Granada Hills, honk and wave.I'll be the hillbilly with the sheep in the back.I need to check the vessel I.D.number.Are the numbers on back of the transom like my flat?

You can drop your sheep off on the way through Gillette. I'm sure someone will take care of her for ya. :)

I don't know about remnants but there is a huge metal supply about 5 miles from Granada Hills that has racks of smaller stock in the "showroom" for resonable cost. :D

Flatrat if the #s are not on the transom look on top the port side stringer near the transom. Thats where there located on my Sanger hydro and its a 74.

If there are no no's and registration is you're concerne you can title the boat as a "rebiult boat" and engrave a new HIN in the transom. Youi have to have a state trooper come by and verify the new # to regester it - at least thats how it works in wv I know from unpleasant experiance!!  Ibought some 33"Fountain hulls from the gov't and that's the only way I ever got them titled! argue (the gov't don't care if you ever get a clear title-you already bought it! cry

Yes is a title issue, there isn't one.The guy says it's not hot.He will write down the vessel #'s and trailer vin #'s and have it notorized.I had the same problem with '67 Sanger Flat. The Game Warden come by the shop and issued new #'s.I grew up no. cal so I know how it is to deal with DMV.Sorry wrong form,or line B is'nt right. Thanks for your imput.V-drives rule!
