Can the blue and red annodizing be removed from AN hose ends? I want to polish the 4 that i have in my boat.

Yes, but it takes a lot of work. You have to remove the material that has been anodized, either by polishing it away or sanding it away.

Taylorman, go to the grocery store and get oven cleaner, spray on, let soak, and it wipes right off. It is kind of time consuming but it works really well.

ya EZ-Off oven cleaner works great. spray it on and let a foam layer sit on it for a while. wipe it clean. repeat until its all off.

The ends are on stainless hose already. Will the oven cleaner mess up the braided line?

not sure but i would just mask it off with some duct tape so you don't spray any on the ss lines.

Oven cleaner works BUT it will distort the metal. I use a metal coffee can with 50/50 water and draino. I have metal screen from a old screen door and use that to dip my parts. It will remove the anodizing and will not harm the metal.

Tri sodium phosphate (TSP). TSP is a phosphate cleaner that can be purchased in paint and hardware stores. TSP is not available in some areas. Good substitutes are ammonium sulphate(fertilizer), Epsom salts and low sudsing dish detergent.
