Vintage Aircooled Ted Williams 7hp (sears) Outboard

My Stepdad pulled this little aircooled outboard out yesterday. He wants to sell it since he doesnt have his little fishing boat anymore. Best I can figure at this point is its about 1985 or so vintage aircooled 7.0hp sears outboard. I just thought I would put it up here and see if anyone would be interested in it.

good to know I'm not the only one--my dad has the 4HP hanging in his garage somewhere, along with a 1955 Johnson 10HP and some other vintage outboards--guess thats where I got the outboard bug :D

I have been around outboards since birth. So yeah :D One day Ill have a little alum. fishing boat with a 5hp Merc on it. :D

I've still got both the Sears 4-man inflatable boat and the 3hp Sears outboard
I bought when I was 13 from paper route money I earned........
this was in 1974............ boat still completely works, and the motor fires up
on first or second pull........
Ya think it might need a new impellor-??

I have a 5hp Johnson Fisherman and 10hp Mercury. Unused since someone stole my little johnboat. Anyone interested? Not much demand here in Norcal anymore.
The Johnson was used regular. Always at the lakes and in the Delta. Never salt water.
The Mercury is near new. Used twice, infact the pull cord is still clean and the paper inspection tag on motor is still there. Still have all the paperwork
