Suck in what? I've had mine just bend forward, but not ripped off and sucked in.

Yea, sorry dude. new around here, thought I might find some answers at a different post. the flap didn,y rip off it just pulled in on one side. I read about puting in the wrong cam. Will a cam out of a stern drive 454 work in a jetboat 454? Don they have a different duration with little scavaging to prevent backup in the cylinders??

Thanks for the idea jbone. I just lookes at the thread on the bar. It pulled all the way in and the other one was sealed like tuperware.
