The bubble at the stern is the Corsa exhaust. There is a switch on my dash that dumps the exhaust out the side VS the prop

I think you have a great family boat.
IMP&HO (and this debate has raged here many times here over the years, I don't care, my opinion is just that!) - To be a "Hot Boat" it MUST - have no more than 2 seats (possibly small, pretty much unusable backseats), and MUCH more power than any sane person would need. It should have a Prop too, not an impeller - but that's not a must. ;) The rest are just "Performance Boats", "Family Performance Boats", "Family Boats", "Ski Boats", or simply "Boats". ;) :D :D
SO like I said......You have a very nice Family Boat.

Not too shabby. I'm avoiding a new boat payment, so I certainly can't flame any of you with these amazing boats. I'll stick with the Old and Sparkly (which was the old man's when I was about 9 but has gone through a moderate resto by me in the last couple years) and the red Mr Ed's that I just got. One for local, and one that gets stored at my buddy's house in LV. That way, pop in any given weekend, grab the boat and off to Laughlin!!
Plus the wife thinks I'm going to Vegas...she'd rather have me there than at the river with my buddies!!
My blue Old & Sparkly here is a '74 Kona, don't laugh, I've got a Louie Unser Rattlesnake 160 Chevy(Iron Duke) that will hit nearly 50...all that on 4 cylinders...LOL.
The '76 Mr Ed's (not pictured) has the 460 with the Berkeley and will hit 68 on the GPS with no mods, no headers...nuttin' but a Holley 750 and a bunch of gas.
Either one "keepsthebeerafloat" and gets me outta the house, either with or without the family...so before you go and feed yourself to the lion's den...What do you rate your boat??
I give the Old and Sparkly a 13 for the amount of girls my buddy and I ended up partying with on the last trip out to the river with it(yes, I can document it!LOL). The Mr Ed's gets an 8, 'cuz that's the time I will be waking up to get out to the Sandbar before you guys with those 28 footers get out there and ruin my water...

Dude, getting groovy as a rating is way more than a 10!!
You get a "spiffy" or "tits" rating, and you're off the scale...thas what I'm talkin' 'bout!!
Oh yeah, and smoked glass vs. smoked grass...? I've got a leaf glassed into the floor of my Mr Ed's that I found when I was replacing the carpet...how's that for groovy!!???

nice looking boat, if it starts at the when you launch and it is still running when you trailer it.... it's at least a 7, but I believe anything over 20' has to be pushing at least 425hp to be considered mildly "Hot" if not I propose a new man law on it!! see ya on the water!

That right there is funny.
If your ice chest holds cold beer...your in.
A ***boat is like a street rod. You know...float on the hook all day and wait for that 6:00 pm scream down the river. Sometimes you can get a wake up call from a ***boat but only on Saturday morning. Sunday morning ***boat drivers have a severe hangover headache even thier own boat can't cure:D
And, I used to have a Reinell. 185F, Put over 700 hours on that boat in a little over 5 years. Good boats.

I DIG IT !

I like it. My last boat was the same thing. It was a 1995 renill with a 365 454 and a brovo 1. I had soooo much fun on that boat. Yours is way niceer than my was but there pritty good boats. You and your family will have ton of fun on her. Just remember footage has alot to do with the ride of the boat. You made a 5 foot jump. Right on dude!!! enjoy your new toy on the water:) :) :) :)

Don't bother spending dough on that stuff.....get a nice stereo and have fun with your friends. Chasing MPH in a boat like yours is a waste of money unless you have lots of it and need to get rid of it quick.
When we bought a new boat two years ago I passed on the 496 Mag HO for that reason. It's $5K more than the 496 Mag, 75 HP, and 3 MPH faster. Kinda dumb to spend that money.
If you wanna go fast, go find a cheap v-drive for sale. You can spend $6500 on your boat to go 6 MPH faster or you can buy a decent v-drive with that money and go 90 MPH. That's what we did.
Besides, everyone should have more than one boat. :D :D
