Ran up to Pleasant Sunday to run around to make sure my new seats are going to hold my big ass in the boat...
The wind was blowing pretty good and the lake was nothing but rolling white caps pretty much the whole time I was out. Saw a nasty accident on the way home at 99th and Carefree... Looks like someone tried beating a car on Carefree and didn't make it. Boat was off the trailer and all I counted 5 ambulances going to the scene. Hope no one got hurt to bad...

Looks like I had my bowl gasket leaking a little bit...
When I got home I tried to tighten the Bolts for the bowl they were all pretty tight. Anyone see a problem running with this leaking?
Want to try making it through the season and do a rebuild this winter...
Thanks,
Mike

Other than it sinking, it will blow the seal the rest of the way out. It's easy to fix. Take a couple of hours and it will be all better. Shit, I pulled my motor today, and had it back in and running in an afternoon. All by myself. Just pull the bowl and replace the seal...

I didn't use the rubber bowl gasket, just bolt it up and use silicone. a little to seal it, don't fill the gaps inside.
