I found a stock i would like to buy,bare with me i dunno sh*t when it comes to stocks :D I am sure the company is about to buy this other company. Do i buy the stock in the company thats buying or being bought or both ? Any gurus with any insight? TIA

Depends on the price they are buying it at. Is it a discounted price? Don't buy. If it's a takeover price, buy. Is the purchase price per share higher or lower than the current stock price?

Then you should be able to read through their SEC filings and find out what the plan is (who's taking over whom, and for what proposed amount per share). Look for the most recent filings, specifically 8-K press releases.
