The company is planning a production run of about 100 vehicles.
Sits on a Corvette C6 chassis, front styled like a 57 Chevy, side like a 58, rear like a 59. Hence the designation "789".

I can see that some here will slam it. But, to me, a custom vehicle is for fun and that looks like someone had a ball designing it, someone will have a blast owning it, and still others will get a kick out of seeing it on the road.:D

I think they are pretty cool. They priced about $130K which seems like a lot but am sure there is a ton of work involved.

I'll bite your bait! Where can I get more info. on this car? I've been looking at XLRs and pricing a "standard one" (not a "V"), having it "two toned" and adding the rear mounted twin turbo kit. They are using NEW Vettes right? Is there a current waiting list? Thanks!

Their site says, "This vehicle is built on a 2005-2007 Corvette C6 chassis." I'm curious where they're getting these chassis? Are they using wrecked Vettes or buying perfectly good used ones and removing the bodies? (And how many miles do these chassis have on them?) Sounds kind of like a new car built on a used chassis. :)

Went to the site. I read: "donor car", "$135,000.00" and "conversion includes". That's enough for me. I expected THE ENTIRE CAR for 135k. Not a "kit car conversion" It's only fiberglass! For $135k, I could buy TWO vettes and GIVE YOU ONE!

I built some Cobra's for a guy that 1/4ed a 427. He streched it out to fit on a vet frame. The tooling was junk, and looked like crap. But this car, body work is flawless. Nice deep gloss. I hope not, but I'm sure they will be Garage Queens.
